You know how Dean says “awesome” to describe a situation he thinks is anything but? So does Chuck, his ‘author’.
In 4.18, when he finds his “biggest fans” Sam and Dean on his doorstep, looking very pissed off, Chuck says:
Chuck (obviously nervous): That’s, that’s, uh, awesome. I think I’ve got some posters in the house…
He says it again in “The Real Ghostbusters”, I think when Becky ditches him for Sam, but I can’t find the exact quote at the moment.
I dunno, just something I thought was cool. Like protagonist, like author, I guess. :)
(also note that for Dean’s love interest/best friend/whatever-Cas-is, Chuck writes in a short, nerdy guy with wayward dark hair, piercing blue eyes, and a healthy amount of scruff. Sound like anyone else we know?
