Just wanted to point out that Robert Singer co-wrote “Out With The Old”, “Sin City” and “Appointment in Samarra” (with Jenny Klein, Jeremy Carver and Sera Gamble, respectively). He was not the episodes’ sole writer.
However, Singer is the common element in all three episodes, which do share some very uncomfortable similarities, so I think the points I made still stand.
