The look Dean is giving Cas. Its like he has found life again, hes happy. i jst looked at this and im crying! i feel like a crazy person!! its jst that they just make the perfect couple!! i love Destiel!! :’) <3 

No seriously, guys, look at everyone acting the shit out of this scene.

Jensen, I mean, GODDAMN it’s Jensen, so of course it’s gonna be good. But look at how young Dean looks here, how hopeful; how he smiles with his eyes more than the mouth, but it’s also like he can’t help doing that either, so there’s this little twitch at the lips; and then his eyebrow perk up and there’s that little puff of breath, like he’s on tenterhooks, so nervous, so tense, like every little atom of his body is screaming, maybe you really will be okay, Cas, maybe god will actually for once let me have this one little thing.

And then MISHA, goddammit. Look how obviously happy Cas is to see Dean, and to see Dean so happy to see him. But he can’t hold that hopeful gaze; Cas wants to but he can’t, it just makes him too uncomfortable, so he shifts his weight back and forth and drops his gaze somewhere to Dean’s chest, right to where there are ribs etched with his handwriting, and where for years rested an amulet that he believed would point the way to God. And then that smile tightens, just a fraction of an inch too much; it becomes brittle, it loses its light; and then Cas swallows, like he needs to steel himself for whatever comes next (which of course is the finger-pulling joke).

Oh and I haven’t forgotten about Jared back there, being awesome, all swallowing and grinding his teeth and shit, because Sam is the only one here who knows the score; he knows exactly what Cas took on from his melon, and he knows he can’t dare to let himself hope like Dean does. And you can see it right there in Sam’s face, that as soon as he looks at Cas he knows something’s not right, in the way the smile withers right off his face before it can form, and how Sam clenches his teeth so hard you can see his jaw pop, and then he swallows guiltily, and he just knows.

I mean, fuck guys. The actors on this show already make the rest of network television look like a Punch & Judy show, but Jensen, Jared and Misha are beyond the pale. Guys. Stop being so good at what you do.

And by “stop”, I mean don’t stop. Don’t you fucking dare.
